The 4i cycle highlights in an important way how fundamental the assumption of change is.
Comparison with reality allows people in the organization to maintain an intelligent attitude towards change.
What is objective productivity?
It means deciding the cause-activity of our ideas to put into play the creativity of the consequent actions, ingenuity. It means asserting that in every human being there is genius, the creative principle for collective growth; such assumption means every person equal in his intellectual capacity for the quality of his human result.
It is here that the real innovation is born, that is to bring new ideas for new actions capable of methodically obtaining results of high human quality in continuous growth. Allows to be change in change, to be an individual in the community, to be particular in the perspective.
The final consequence is the value that moves organizations towards the betterment of civilization: enterprise.
People aware of creating conditions and closing cycles to generate a positive, motivating and uncomfortable comparison with the result create symbiotic, synchronized and synergistic organizations towards the asymptote of excellence, that is, continuous improvement, regardless of the result.
It is the pro-active organizations that are determined to grow in a market that is ever faster, more impulsive and uncertain and, consequently, of great prosperity for those who, really and ethically, generate profit, well-being for all.
Not to accept change, as seen before, predisposes a bad attitude not to put in stake intelligence by the person and its organization.
You reject reality, you refuse improvement as an uncomfortable value essential for personal and collective well-being, you remove yourself from the center to disguise yourself in a world of lies that we call alibis. Justifications to explain that we are not selfless human beings, but egocentric in the search for the umpteenth take without giving.
This involves not people’s ingenuity, but a sterile performance capable only of alienating productivity and personal motivation, capable of nullifying personal self-esteem and downgrading to the need and not to the value of one’s role for and with others.
Execution is not capitalism.
Demotivated performers are not the essence of prosperity and change. Too often, the entrepreneur falls into this trap of wanting to continue to repeat the same actions in the mad hope of a better result and an impossible motivation to manifest itself.
Exogenous events thus become the perfect excuse not to undertake, to complain and ask for motivation and external productivity to those who are not receiving it and, therefore, legitimate not to give it. Think of the nefarious relationship that is created between a company that does not innovate, but ages, and that therefore no longer gives excellence and the market that does not receive improvement and considers the organization and leadership false and useless and, sensibly, to be rejected definitively.
Now it is easier to understand how resistance to change is created in organizations and how this is the consequence of the failure of the collective challenging project called enterprise.
“External causes” never fail, but always and only for “internal causes” not addressed intelligently to provoke resourcefulness to change organizations.
This is the truth.
This is the opportunity that gives us today the market in its entirety and accelerated evolution: to be even more intelligent and enterprising, more competent to the continuous growth for the social and economic evolution of the market.
